This is the perfect low cost professional high definition DVR including a Western Digital 3Tb Surveillance hard drive for medium and average sized homes and businesses needing up to 8 cameras connected over COAX. This system is ideal if you already have COAX run throughout the home or business for an old CCTV system which is no longer working. However, up to 8 network (IP digital) cameras can be connected to this system (please see the datasheet link below for more information). 

The Hikvision HD-TVI systems are PERFECT for replacing old CCTV systems which were initially run using COAX.

Full HD (high definition) 1080P is equivalent to 2MP (megapixels) in CCTV terms. This recorder will easily record 5MP which 2.5 times full HD!!! Amazing quality at a ridiculously low price. Forget fuzzy old low-resolution CCTV footage – this system records in beautiful incredibly high definition.
